This weekend John and I worked in the flower bed. This is something I've been wanting to do for a very long time. I wanted it cleaned up and made more simplistic. The pictures don't to it justice, the before picture is actually after I ripped up all the weeds and ugliness! Starting this project I was concerned that it was going to cost way too much money. In the end, I think we spent about $150 for soil, 2 new rose bushes, mulch, stone, and concrete mix. It took about 6 hours total. My husband did an AMAZING job!!! I know it's not an amazing transformation, but it sure made me feel better.
